ULTRA Test Kit for the total microbial count
The Ultra test kit is designed to determine the total microbial count in an ultra-wide range from 500 to 50,000,000 CFU/g without sample dilution. The Ultra app's algorithm analyzes measurement accuracy and, if low values are detected, requests a confirmatory test with a sterilizing agent. The measurement process is automated, and the metrology complies with the basic principles of GOST 34472-2018.
Application: raw, pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized milk, fermented milk products, process washings.
The analysis time is 5 minutes, and when performing a confirmation test it doubles to 10 minutes.
Ultra test tubes contain a mixture of fluorogenic substrates that participate in microbial metabolism, producing fluorescent products. A special Ultra Buffer reduces the effects of inhibitors and accelerates microbial recovery.
The Ultra test tube is filled with 1 cm3 of ultra-buffer
A test-tube with ultra-buffer is heated to a temperature of 37 °C.
Add 0.25 cm3 of sample to a heated test tube with ultra-buffer
The contents of the test tube are mixed using a vortex mixer for 10 seconds.
The test tube is placed into the BioTF turbidofluorimeter and the lid of the device is tightly closed.
Select the Ultra app. The measurement will be performed automatically, and the results will appear in the test report.
