Micro test-tube contains multi-component fluorescence probe which change their fluorescence property when interacting with microorganisms. The specific rate of fluorescence is in direct proportion to the aerobic microbial count. Fluorescence dynamics is registered by Turbidofluorimeter BioTF. “Start” software application calculates the specific rate of fluorescence and corresponding aerobic microbial count.
1. Raw milk is mixed and 1.3 cm³ is collected in a microtube.
2. Place the microtube in a heater for 10 minutes.
3. Pour the heated milk into the activated Start test tube.
4. Mix the contents of the test tube using a vortex mixer for 10 seconds.
5. The test tube is placed in the BioTF turbidofluorimeter.
6. Select the Start application and press the green button.
